Donna Mendoza started at Long Beach City College as a student in 2006. She transferred to California State University Dominguez Hills and received her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. During this time, she was a student worker who fell in love with higher education and LBCC's culture. She became a full-time Classified Staff in 2015 in Student Affairs and Conduct. Currently, she is the Senior Administrative Assistant for Kal Stewart in Athletics.

Donna was born and raised in the South Bay. Where she played a few sports through the City of Carson’s park leagues. Although, this did not lead to athletic career, but did build the fundamentals of being a team player. She still resides in the South Bay with her husband and two daughters.
