The 2019 LBCC Foundation Athletics Associates 36th Annual Golf Tournament would like to recognize Wil Shaw as this year's honoree. Will Shaw began his coaching career at Long Beach City College as an assistant football coach in 1973. After serving as an assistant coach for 11 years, Shaw was named the head football coach in 1984. Shaw served for eight seasons as the head football coach and compiled 77 total wins in his 19 years with Long Beach City College Football.

Plan to join us for the 2019 Long Beach City College Foundation Athletics Associates Golf Tournament. The event is set for Thursday, May 16 at Recreation Park Golf Course in Long Beach. This year, the Athletics Associates will sponsor its 36th Annual Golf Tournament. As the major fundraiser for Long Beach City College Athletics, we are planning and looking forward to a great day of golf, food, beverages, and friends.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Each year the LBCC Foundation Athletics Associates coordinates its annual golf tournament, with proceeds directly benefitting our athletic programs. Through recent years, we have suffered budget cuts which have made our fundraising efforts even more crucial to the success of our student-athletes and our athletic programs as a whole.
Funds raised through this event contribute to the purchase of athletic equipment, team travel expenses, tournament participation expenses, officials' expenses and much more. In order for the Long Beach City College Vikings to continue on our path of success, we need support from people and businesses just like you. Please note that your donation is tax-deductable.
Since its formation, the Athletics Associates has raised over $500,000 for the Long Beach City College athletic programs. We ask that you please consider joining us this year as a supporter through one of the following options:
- Title Sponsor $5,000: Includes two (2) foursomes, exclusive signage on the course, opportunity for a promotional table set-up, recognition on large sponsor banner, full year LBCC website promotion, and recognition at the dinner.
- Corporate Sponsor $3,000: Includes two (2) foursomes, 36"x24" signage on the course, opportunity for a promotional table set-up, recognition on large sponsor banner, and recognition at the dinner.
- Viking Sponsor $1,500: Includes one (1) foursome, 24"x18" signage on the course, and recognition at the dinner.
- Hole Sponsor $250: Includes 24"x18" sign on one designated hole.
