Long Beach Hosts the 2023 World Aquatics Women’s World Cup

Long Beach City College is hosting the 2023 World Aquatics Women's World Cup on June 23-25 at the new Kinesiology Labs Aquatics Complex.

Water Polo Head Coach Chris Oeding returns to Team USA as the assistant coach. Oeding has served as the assistant coach since 2013, and most recently has won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

"Hosting the World Cup has been an amazing opportunity to showcase our facility to the global community", said Director of Aquatics Bradley Adamson.  "It is really special to have the best women water polo athletes train and compete right here at Long Beach City College as they prepare for the next Olympics."
