The Long Beach City College beach volleyball team not only won the South Coast Conference Pairs Championship, but also qualified our four top teams for the post-season regional playoffs.

Freshman Tatyana Tuilaii-Umi and sophomore Jordan Diaz won the South Coast Conference Pairs Championship by defeating El Camino in two sets. The champions first defeated Mt. San Antonio College in a two-set sweep (21-9, 21-9) to move on to play Mt. SAC's top team, where they swept the Mounties again in two-sets (21-16, 21-11).

Tuilaii-Umi and Diaz advanced in the bracket to face-off against their own teammates, freshmen Sierra Davis and Josannah Vazquez, who also hadn't lost a match yet.

Diaz and Tuilaii-Umi then conquered and swept Vasquez and Davis (21-14, 21-18) in the semi-finals to advance to the final championship round against El Camino College.
