Last Friday, the Vikings clinched the Co-South Coast Conference Beach Volleyball Championship alongside El Camino College. Long Beach surged past Mt. SAC with a commanding 4-1 victory, but faced a tough challenge against the Warriors, ultimately succumbing 3-2.
At the pinnacle of the South Coast Conference standings were LBCC and El Camino, both boasting identical 8-2 records, with Mt. SAC securing the third spot at 7-3.
The Vikings dominated Mt. SAC, securing victories in two-set sweeps across the board, except for the competitive 2's pairs match. However, when facing off against El Camino, it was only Pearl Tuliau/Brandi Ramirez and Danika Iosua/Ryannah Gagau who managed to secure wins against the Warriors.
Looking ahead, Long Beach eagerly anticipates their participation in the SCC Conference Championship Pairs Tournament, slated for April 19-20 at LBCC, where they aim to continue their impressive performance on the sand.
