The Long Beach City College Vikings Baseball team fell to the Santa Ana College Dons 11-5 on Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, the Vikings hold a 15-16 overall record.
The Dons opened the game by putting up two runs and continued their dominant offense until the sixth inning, where Vikings freshman right fielder Ryan Geck scored in a run to get the Vikings on the board.
In the final inning, the Vikings started swinging with a 3 RBI double from sophomore third baseman Evan Vasquez and an RBI single from freshman outfielder Cody Lagafuaina to close in on the Dons with four more runs.
The Vikings finalized the game with an 11-5 loss, but they will return to the pitch again on Tuesday, April 11 at East Los Angeles College at 2:30 p.m.
