CCCAA/CCCFCA Regional State Poll

A 3-0 start to the 2014 season has led the Long Beach City College football team achieve a No. 2 ranking in the first California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) / California Community College Football Coaches Association (CCCFCA) Regional State Poll. The rankings were released on Monday afternoon.

With 211 points, LBCC is just nine points back of No. 1 Mt. San Antonio College (220 points). The 2014 California Community College Football Poll is a service of the CCCAA and the CCCFCA. The poll is recognized as the official regional state ranking and will be used for selection of post-season and bowl game participants.

The Vikings are coming off a 33-19 win at Bakersfield College on Saturday. Long Beach is at Los Angeles Harbor College this weekend (Sept 27) before a huge date at home on October 4 against Mt. SAC.
