Following their impressive performances in the Vikings' 38-31 double-overtime win at Mt. San Antonio College on Saturday, Long Beach City College freshmen Jack Lowary (Mater Dei HS) and Mike Wilson (Washington Preparatory) have been named National Central League Co-Offensive Players of the Week by the Southern California Football Association (SCFA).

Lowary had his best game as a Viking as he completed 34 of 62 passes for 432 yards with five touchdowns and one interception. Trailing 31-17 in the fourth quarter, Lowary led the Vikings on a pair of touchdown drives, including a 12-play, 91-yarder that tied the score with just 27 seconds left in regulation. Lowary's fifth TD pass of the night went to Jerin Scroggins in the second overtime to seal the win.

Heading into Week 6, Lowary has connected on 100 of 187 passes for 1,238 yards and nine touchdowns.

Wilson, Lowary's top target on the night, was nearly unstoppable. He hauled in 14 receptions for 218 yards and four touchdowns to provide most of the Vikings' offense. In the fourth quarter, Wilson's 26-yard TD reception cut the Mt. SAC lead to seven while his 12-yard touchdown catch sent the game to overtime.

Wilson leads the Vikings with 33 receptions for 478 yards and eight touchdowns.

Lowary and Wilson are the fifth and sixth Vikings to earn Central League Player of the Week honors this season.
