For the fourth-consecutive week, the Long Beach City College football team has seen one of its players be named to the Southern California Football Association (SCFA) Team of the Week. For the second time this season, sophomore wide receiver Jaylen Watson (Los Angeles, CA) has been named the SCFA Offensive Player of the Week after having a monster game that led the Vikings to a 41-14 rout over College of the Canyons.

Watson was a quarterback's dream this past Saturday by continuing to be a highly dangerous weapon through the air. Watson led his squad with nine receptions for 194 yards en route to four touchdowns. His longest grab came on a 51 yard snag that he brought to the house.

Through four games, Watson ranks in the top-10 in numerous categories in the California Community College Athletics Association (CCCAA). The dynamic wide out is tied for second in receiving touchdowns (6) and tied for eighth in receiving yards-per-game (101.5).
