Boston-headquartered national non-profit Team Impact, who connects children facing serious and chronic illnesses with college athletic teams, forming life-long bonds and life-changing outcomes, and the Long Beach City College football team held a special National Letter of Intent signing ceremony for football athlete, nine-year old Lakewood resident Caleb Bradfield.

Bradfield is a fighter, cancer survivor and now officially a Viking football athlete. As a team member, Bradfield attends practices, games, and team events. Bradfield, who was companied by his mom and sister, was supported by student-athletes, coaches and Vikings staff for his signing day with the Long Beach City College football team.

At the end of the ceremony, the football team gifted Bradfield with a team jersey and a helmet to welcome him to the Viking family. Long Beach City College athletic teams such as volleyball, softball and track & field all congratulated Bradfield and took pictures with him and his family.

Welcome to LBCC Athletics, Caleb Bradfield!
