The Long Beach City College football team will be hosting Crosstown Rival Cerritos College this Saturday, Oct. 5 in the 2019 Homecoming Game at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Vikings and the Associated Student Body will be hosting a steampunk themed tailgate experience for all Vikings fans to come and participate in the Homecoming festivities from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in the Veterans Stadium parking lot.
There will be food trucks, games, and a live band for students, alumni and fans to enjoy. Students and alumni will receive free food vouchers for the food trucks at the Alumni Association booth and the ASB will be providing free hot dogs for everyone.
Last season, the Vikings defeated the Falcons 46-32. Kickoff for the Homecoming game will be a 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for seniors and children, free for students and Alumni Association members.
