It was recently announced by the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) that three of No. 16 Long Beach City College men's basketball players were named to the South Coast Conference (SCC) – South All-Conference teams. Sophomore guard William English and freshman guard Jeremiah Sadler both earned First-Team accolades, while freshman Jordan Heard hauled in Honorable Mention recognition.

Last year as a freshman, English earned Second-Team All- Conference laurels. This year, he earned First-Team by starting in all 10 conference games and averaging around 16.2 points per game. He was always a threat in the paint with averaging 5.7 rebounds per game. Overall, English was 44-59 at the line to earn himself 74.6 free throw percentage.

Salder was welcomed a spot on the First-Team list by making a name for himself offensively. In conference he totaled 140 points with 42 assists, while rebounding 40. He was quick on the outside with his passing and was the leader on the team for the highest points recorded in a game with 33 points.

Heard earned Honorable Mention for the conference with his smart ball control. Heard was one of the top leaders on the team in assists and steals. He averaged at least one steal per game, while assisting 2.4. In the conference game against LA Southwest, Heard was almost perfect in shooting percentage and totaled 16 points for the Vikings.
