Bass Signs National Letter of Intent with CSU San Bernardino

Long Beach City College men's basketball freshman Jace Bass has signed a national letter of intent with CSU San Bernardino (CSUSB) to continue his athletic and academic career on a full scholarship.

In the first week of the 2018 men's basketball season, Bass was named the Santa Ana College Tip-Off Tournament Most Valuable Player. Bass helped his team win Championship game against Santiago Canyon.

So far this season, Bass has started in all games and has taken the team to an undefeated 4-0 start. He has totaled 110 points, 14 steals, and has 36 rebounds on the season for the Vikings. Bass averages 18.3 points per game, and it's only the beginning of the season.

Bass will compete at CSUSB starting next Fall season. The Coyotes are led by Andy Newman and compete at the NCAA Division II level and are a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
