No. 26 Vikings Win Fifth-Consecutive Game Against LA Trade-Tech 105-79

The state-ranked No. 26 Vikings defeated the LA Trade-Tech Beavers 105-79 for the fifth-consecutive win on Friday evening in the Hall of Champions. With the win, the Vikings advance to 12-4 overall.

The Vikings came out the gates strong as they held the Beavers 56-40 at halftime. They continued their lead to score 49 more points and take home the 105-79 win.

Sophomore guard Jace Bass led the team with 41 points and had six rebounds and four assists. Bass is the current leader in the state with averaging 31.9 points per game.

Sophomore forward Matthew Schmidt shined against the Beavers by being a defensive asset in the paint with 12 rebounds. Schmidt also utilized his size on offense with 20 points.

Freshman guard Khieem Williams also put on an offensive show for the Vikings as he threw up 10 points including a spectacular dunk in the second half with the assist from sophomore guard Aaron Jelks.

The Vikings will return to action on Wednesday, Jan 15 against Pasadena College in the Hall of Champions at 7 p.m.
