The state-ranked No. 24 Vikings defeated the Compton College Tartars last night 103-71. With the win, the Vikings advance to 15-6 overall and 2-1 in South Coast Conference action.

Sophomore guard Kester Ofoegbu dominated the court against Compton by the double-double of 34 points and 12 rebounds. Ofeogbu was perfect at the free throw line as he went eight for eight and had five assists and two steals.

Freshman guard Stephon Leonard was also an offensive asset on the court as he hit 21 points for the Vikings. Leonard was on fire on the outside with hitting five three pointers.

The Vikings will return to conference action on Friday, Jan. 31 at LA Habor College at 7 p.m.
