The Long Beach City College men's soccer team fell to the Chaffey College Panthers 4-3 on Tuesday afternoon at the Vikings Soccer Field With the loss, the Vikings drop to 1-4 overall.
Chaffey was first to score in the 17th minute of the game and then sophomore midfielder Jaelyn Agu nailed a header from a corner kick from sophomore midfielder Sergio Flores to tie the Panthers 1-1. Then freshman forward Cameran Badal slammed a goal into the back of the Panthers' net to lead Chaffey 2-1 at halftime.
The Panthers came back stronger in the second half as they tied the game 2-2 in the 55th minute. Badal bounced back in action as he scored his second goal to have the Vikings lead again 3-2.
Chaffey was not finished just yet as they scored two more goals to take the 4-3 win away from the Vikings.
Long Beach City College men's soccer will return to the field on Friday, Sept. 13 at Golden West College at 4 p.m.
