Welcome Men’s Soccer 2020 Recruits

The Long Beach City College (LBCC) men's soccer team would like to welcome the Fall 2020 recruiting class to the Vikings family.

Miguel Arroyo                   Freshman                            Midfielder                          Poly                      

Arroyo comes to LBCC after becoming an All-CIF First-Team recipient, 2020 Moore League Co-Most Valuable Player, 2020 Moore League Champion, Team Most Valuable Player, Dream Team First-Team, and earned the 2019 All-Moore League First-Team honors. He also was the 2019 Club Boca Juniors Far West Regional Champions.

Avila was also part of the 2020 Moore League Championship team and is part of the Club F.C. Premier.

Eugene Tapparo               Freshman                            Striker                                 Poly                      

Tapparo was named the Moore League All-Star game Most Valuable Player in 2019 and he is part of the Club Strikers Academy.          

Angel Diaz                           Freshman                          Defender                          Millikan                              

Diaz went to Dallas Cup twice with Strikers Club Team and competes with the Club OC Rush.

Ian Woods                          Freshman                            Defender                          Millikan              

Woods was part of the Dream Team Second-Team selection and plays for the Club FCP.

Caleb Sookhoor                Freshman                            Defender                            Millikan                              

Sookhoor was a part of the 2020 All-Moore League First-Team honorees, and was named Moore League and Team Defensive Player of the Year. He also was part of the Dream Team Second-Team and plays for Club F.C. Premier.

Jack Schaaf                         Freshman                           Defender                          Millikan                              

Schaaf was named to the All-Moore League selections and is part of the Club C.D.A. Slammers.

Eduardo Flores                 Freshman                            Defender                            Paramount        

Flores was named to the 2020 All-League First-Team, Dream Team Second-Team and was the league's and his team's Defensive Player of the Year. He also plays for the Club South Coast Strikers.

Eduardo Mosqueda        Freshman                            Midfielder                            Cabrillo               

Mosqueda was named the 2020 Moore League Co-Most Valuable Player, earned Moore League First-Team accolades; Dream Team First-Team selection, and Team Most Valuable Player. In the 2019 season, he was All-Moore League selection, and was part of the CIF Regional Championship Team.  He is currently on the Club F.C. Premier.

Ulloa was named to the 2020 Moore League First-Team, 2020 Dream Team Honorable Mention selection and was his team's Most Valuable Player.

Noah Leonardo                 Freshman                            Forward/Defender         Cerritos               

Leonardo comes to LBCC after being named to the 2019 All-League selection, and the 2019 Team Most Valuable Player. He also competes for the Club F.C. Premier.

Alex Ochoa                         Sophomore                        Midfielder                          Western             

Ochoa was named to the 2018 Orange Empire League First-Team and was the team Most Valuable Player at Cypress College. During high school, he was named to the 2018 All CIF First-Team and All-League First-Team, and was the League and team Most Valuable Player.

Martin Ochoa                    Sophomore                        Midfielder                          Schmidt              

Ochoa comes from San Diego Christian College where he was named the Freshman of the Year. In his 2017 season, he was named All-CIF LA City First-Team, All CIF LA County Second-Team, and was on the CIF Champion Team.

Michael Redeaux             Freshman                            Midfielder                          Jordan                 

Redeaux was comes to the Vikings after being named to the 2017 CIF Second Team, 2017 Moore League First Team, and was a CIF Finalist.

Ignacio Licea                      Freshman                            Defender/Midfielder                     Downey              

Licea was honored with 2017 All SCA First-Team, All League First-Team, and Dream Team selections. He also played for LA Galaxy Academy.
