Cyrus Fa'alogo Named to All-Tournament Team

At the conclusion of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championship Tournament, freshman outside hitter Cyrus Fa'alogo (Salt Lake City, UT) was named to the All-Tournament team after leading his squad to the semifinal round highlighted by a blowout victory over Fullerton.

Fa'alogo earned a total of 40 kills, three services aces, seven digs, and three blocks throughout the entire tournament. He led his team in kills in each match to prove his offensive strength.

Fa'alogo did the majority of his tournament damage in a match victory over the Fullerton College Hornets. He tallied a game-high 18 kills en route to a .600 hitting percentage that consisted of only a trio of errors off 25 total attempts. Furthermore, he notched three services aces and scooped up five digs. He was responsible for 22 points in the contest.

He led his team in kills with 11 in a three-set defeat to El Camino as well.

The freshman committed to Division-I powerhouse Brigham Young University (BYU) as a setter this season after being named the Western State Southern Division's Most Valuable Player. He helmed his squad to their second-consecutive conference title after going 6-0 in conference with an overall record of 16-4.
