No. 3 Men’s Volleyball Defeats Fullerton in Third-Consecutive Sweep

The No.3 Long Beach City College men's volleyball team defeated the Fullerton College Hornets 3-0 on Wednesday evening in the Building Q Gym. With the win, the Vikings advance to 8-3 overall with a .727 winning percentage.

Freshman outside hitter Vinicius da Silva was on fire as he led the Vikings 11 kills and eight digs. Freshman setter Joseph Rocha recorded 32 assists at the net and had four digs and three kills.

Freshman setter Kyler Tufuga was a threat in the back court as he totaled three service aces for Long Beach. Freshman opposite Uriel Batista led the team defensively as he had three blocks at the net against the Hornets.

The No. 3 Long Beach City College Vikings will return to conference action on Friday, Mar. 15 at Moorpark College at 6 p.m.
