Men's Water Polo Defeats Rio Hondo 21-7

The men's water polo team took down the Rio Hondo College Roadrunners 21-7 at the Viking Aquatic Complex on Wednesday afternoon in their third South Coast Conference game. With the win, the Vikings advance to 3-0 in conference play and 11-4 overall.

Freshman goalkeeper Seth Seaboch had four saves on six shots and two steals in the second half of the game.

Freshmen attackers Hugo Roscio and Christian Oberst were the leading scorers on the team with three goals each. Freshmen attackers Dusan Ivanovic and Fabio Mujica, sophomore attacker Karlo Krmek and freshman defender Josh Harvey all threw in two goals each for the Vikings.

Krmek totaled three steals for the Vikings' defense and freshman attacker Will Barnes, Mujica and Harvey all tallied two steals each.

The men's water polo team will play again on Friday, Oct. 12 in the Riverside Mini Tournament at Riverside City College.
