No. 1 Men’s Water Polo Still Undefeated

The No. 1 Long Beach City College men's water polo team remains undefeated after a 20-8 conference win against El Camino College on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Vikings advance their streak to 14-0 and 2-0 in South Coast Conference play.

The Vikings started the game with a goal from freshman center Jose Barajas. Then sophomore attacker Fabio Mujica, freshman attacker Cameron Frazier, and freshman attacker Michael Baker rung the score up to 5-0 before the Warriors could put themselves on the scoreboard.

Sophomore attackers Vedran Latkovic and Aleka Vucurovic, Barajas, Mujica, and Baker all score two goals each for the Vikings.

Freshman goalkeeper Matteo Marcato and Cole Raulston held down the cage as they only allowed the Warriors to eight goals.

The No. 1 men's water polo team will return to action in the Riverside City College Invitational on Oct. 11-12.
