No. 7 Men’s Water Polo Takes Down Cerritos 16-8

The Long Beach City College men's water polo team defeated the Cerritos College Falcons 16-8 in their third conference game. With the win, the Vikings are 11-5 overall and 3-0 in the South Coast Conference.

Starting goalkeeper William McKean only allowed one goal go by him in the first half, while tallying four saves for the Vikings.

"We had a good win," said Head Coach Djoko Radunovic. "The guys followed through with the game plan and it was a good bounce back from last weekend."

Attacker Harry Petersen worked hard on the outside as he led the team with four goals and had two steals. While attackers Nicolas Fedotov and Michael Minera totaled three goals each.

The Vikings will be back in the pool for the LBCC Mini Tournament this weekend, starting with a game against Riverside at 9:10 a.m. at KLAC.
