Men’s Cross Country: Long Beach finishes in 10th place at Mt. SAC Relays

The Long Beach City College men's cross country team totaled 320 points to finish in 10th place out of 18 teams at the 68th annual Mt. SAC Relays on Friday. Sophomore Tylor Wallace (Mayfair HS) ran 22:49 on the four-mile Mt. San Antonio College course to lead the Vikings with his 56th place finish.

Sophomore Elias Galvan (San Pedro HS) was far behind in 63rd place at 22:59 followed by freshman Jordan Horton (Mayfair HS) in 85th with a time of 23:25.

Host Mt. SAC won the men's team title with a score of 37 points while Saddleback College's Ulysses Orozco was the top finisher at 20:35.

The Mt. SAC Relays served as the final tune up of the regular season before LBCC next competes at the South Coast Conference Championships. The SCC Finals are set for October 30 in Palos Verdes Estates. The men's four-mile race is set to begin at 3:15 p.m.
