Men's XC Advances to State Championship

The Vikings men's cross-country team placed 16th in the SoCal Regionals to advance to their second 3C2A State Championship Appearance in the past three years.

The women's team placed 21st at Regionals, just missing the cut for state.

"I was pleased with the effort both teams showed in this championship race," said the Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Marcus Carroll. "We had a couple of injuries and illnesses on the women's side which unfortunately led to us coming up a bit short of our team goal. On the men's side, our top guys executed well particularly with our fourth and fifth runners stepping up big to help us secure a qualifying spot in Fresno next week. Our coaches did a great job preparing these teams to give it their all in these races."
