In a dominating display of skill, the Vikings women's basketball team from Long Beach emerged victorious in their second South Coast Conference matchup against LA Harbor, securing a convincing 71-50 win. The triumph not only solidified their undefeated 2-0 record in conference play but also elevated their overall season standing to an impressive 10-9.

Freshman guard Brillana Boyd emerged as a standout player, leading the team with a stellar performance of 16 points and nine rebounds. The offensive charge was well-distributed, with freshman Jezelle Moreno, sophomore Chioma Okenwa, and freshman Alahnie Tunu each contributing 10 points to the team's success. Freshman Kimberly Cruz- Martinez showcased her playmaking skills with a notable almost double-double, recording 12 points and an impressive nine assists.

Unfortunately, Wednesday's game against El Camino has been canceled. The team now looks ahead to their next challenge on Friday, February 2, where they will hit the road to face LA Southwest at 7 p.m.
