The Vikings women's basketball team dominated LA Southwest College with a commanding 74-54 victory last night at the Hall of Champions, extending their unbeaten streak in conference play to 7-0.

Freshman Brillana Boyd stole the spotlight, leading the charge for the Vikings with an impressive performance, tallying 24 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Not to be outdone, freshman Jezelle Moreno showcased her versatility with a double-double, scoring 16 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing out six assists.

Assistant Coach Riki Harada commended the team's strong start, stating, "We came out firing in the first half. I'm looking forward to seeing that same intensity for all four quarters when we face Cerritos."

The Vikings are gearing up for their upcoming showdown at Cerritos College on Friday, February 23, at 6 p.m., marking their final clash in the South Coast Conference.
