The Long Beach City College women's soccer sophomore forward Allison Rose Veloz signed her national letter of intent to further her athletic and academic career at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.
This year, Veloz earned the top conference award as the Offensive Player of the Year. She also was invited to participate in the sophomore showcase at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships and has earned All-Region and All-State nods. She finished off the season with 20 goals and nine assists.
When Veloz first came to LBCC in 2019, she brought in South Coast Conference First-Team honors and led the conference with 19 goals and seven assists.
The Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks are led by third-year head coach Kylie Louw and compete in the Big Sky Conference.
