The No. 5 Long Beach City College women's soccer team tied the No. 1 Cypress College Chargers 2-2 on Tuesday evening. With the tie, the Vikings are still undefeated with a 4-0-2 record.
The Vikings were first in the Chargers' goal with freshman forward Kiana Moore smashing it to the back of the net with the assist from sophomore midfielder Melanie Guerrero.
The Chargers pressed back with back-to-back goals to go into halftime with the Vikings trailing by one.
In the second half, the Vikings fought back with Valerie Sandoval subbing in for the throw-in straight to Melanie Guerrero for the tying goal.
The Vikings will return to their home field on Friday, Sept. 22 against Fullerton College at 4 p.m.
