The Long Beach City College women's swimming and diving team totaled 341 points to finish in sixth place at the 2015 South Coast Conference Championships. The three-day event was held on April 16-18 at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park.
The Long Beach women totaled 19 top-10 finishes including six among the top five.
Sophomore Molly Crawford (Wilson HS) posted the Vikings' best individual finish, taking fourth in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:22.38. She was also fifth in the 200-yard backstroke at 2:24.79 and added a sixth-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:07.28.
The 800-yard freestyle relay team also had a fourth-place finish, clocking in at 8:56.35.
Up next for the Vikings are the California Community College Athletic Association Swimming & Diving Championships on May 1-2 at East Los Angeles College.
