Women's Swim Team Secures 3rd Place at State Championships

The women's swim team showcased their talent and determination at the 3C2A State Championships at Orange Coast College over the weekend, securing an impressive 3rd place overall. Here's a recap of some standout performances:

Katie Juarez and Kaelani Roudabush Shine in Diving: Juarez and Roudabush demonstrated their diving expertise, securing 4th place in the 3m and 1m diving events respectively.

Isabella Shead's Butterfly Brilliance: Shead showcased her speed and skill in the 100-yard butterfly, clinching 8th place with a swift time of 1:04.22.

Olivia Slavens' Strong Freestyle: Slavens powered through the competition in the 200-yard freestyle, claiming 4th place with an impressive time of 1:55.54.

Notable Performances by the men's team: Tony Montes captured second place in the 200 backstroke, while Nathaniel D'Aloisio secured second place in the 200 butterfly.

With such stellar performances across the board, the Vikings swim team has truly made their mark at the State Championships.
