Long Beach City College suffered its second consecutive defeat, this time falling 9-0 to Mt. San Antonio College in a South Coast Conference match at LBCC on Thursday.

LBCC totaled just nine points in the match. The Vikings played their best in doubles as the team of Jasmine Hyacinth and Mimi Mercado at No. 2 scored two points in an 8-2 defeat. And at No. 3 doubles, Kelly Zellner and Brittany Ruelas combined for three points in an 8-3 loss.

Long Beach will play its next three matches on the road and return to the court on March 1 at El Camino College for a 2 p.m. SCC match.
