Vikings Sweep Pasadena in Rd. 2 of the South Coast Conference Tournament

The Long Beach City College women's volleyball team swept the Pasadena City College Lancers 3-0 in the semifinals of the South Coast Conference Tournament on Friday evening in the Hall of Champions. With the win, the Vikings advance to the final round in the tournament next week.

Sophomore outside hitter Brooke Earkman was the standout Viking as she led the team with 14 dangerous kills against the Lancers. Earkman also tallied 19 digs to help catapult the team to victory. Freshman setter Lexi Randolph was the support system for the Vikings and totaled 15 assists.

Sophomore outside hitter Anisa Lopez was a threat on offense as well with 10 kills, two service aces and had ten digs.

The Vikings will return to the court in the finals of the South Coast Conference Tournament on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Long Beach City College.
