Saunders, Iosua earn All-South Coast Conference women’s volleyball honors

2022 ALL-SOUTH COAST CONFERENCE

Following the close of the 2022 Long Beach City College women's volleyball season, a pair of Vikings were honored with All-South Coast Conference postseason accolades.

Sophomore outside hitter Caleyse Saunders and freshman outside hitter Danika Iosua were both named second-team All-South Coast Conference for their impressive seasons.

Saunders led the LBCC offense by averaging 3.22 kills per set. She totaled 161 kills on the season as well as 104 digs. Iosua was the team's kills leader with 207, averaging 3.18 kills per set. Iosua posted 148 digs and 23 total blocks.

Long Beach closed out the 2022 season with a 3-16 overall record and went 2-10 in conference play.
