LBCC Women's Water Polo Hauls in Second-Straight Victory with 12-5 Win over Chaffey

The Long Beach City College women's water polo team hit the road for a conference matchup against Chaffey College. LBCC led wire-to-wire and hauled in a victory with ease to haul in their second-straight victory.

Burdette Forsch kicked off the scoring efforts by firing home back-to-back scores. She continued to add one in the second half en route to a 6-1 advantage.

Forsch remained hot on the trigger in the second half by scoring in the third and fourth quarter en route to the victory. She ended with a game-high five netters.

Victoria Johnson continued to be one of the most potent weapons in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) by humming home two goals. She currently ranks fourth in the CCCAA in goals scored.

Sam Wooley and Lindsey Mizrahi acted as valuable assets to the game by each firing home two scores.

Maggie Bennett patrolled the pipes with ease by hauling in her second-consecutive victory.

The Vikings will continue play in the Riverside Mini Tournament on Friday, October 14 by taking on American River and Riverside, respectfully.
