Water Polo Still Undefeated in Conference with Win Against Pasadena
The women’s water polo team took down the Pasadena City College Lancers 15-3 in their fourth South Coast Conference game on Wednesday afternoon at the Viking Aquatic Complex.

The women's water polo team took down the Pasadena City College Lancers 15-3 in their fourth South Coast Conference game on Wednesday afternoon at the Viking Aquatic Complex. With the win, the Vikings remain undefeated in conference with a 4-0 record, and 8-7 overall.
Sophomore center Sabrina Juarez batted in the set position and led the team with four goals against the Lancers. Freshmen defenders Samantha Martinez and Karissa Qualley followed close behind her with three goals each.
Qualley and freshman attacker Sydney Brightenburg both made five-meter shots against the Lancers to help extend the Vikings' lead.
Freshman center Alejandra Villa finished the game with turning her opponent twice for front water and blasted the final goal to win the game 15-3.
The women's water polo team will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 10 against Rio Hondo at home.
