The Long Beach City College women's cross country team totaled 361 points to finish in 12^th place out of 19 teams at the Golden West Central Park Classic on Friday in Huntington Beach.

Freshman Amalia Erazo led the Vikings with a personal-best time of 21:55 on the 5K course to finish in 59^th place overall. Sophomore Alondra Canchola also set a new personal-best time of 22:17 to claim 65^th place.

Glendale College took the team title with an amazing score of 18 points. Glendale posted seven of the top eight finishers, including individual winner Alyssa Selve at 18:20.

Long Beach returns to action on September 30 when it will compete at the Southern California Preview meet at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario.
