Women’s Cross Country: Vikings end season with seventh-place SCC finish

The Long Beach City College women's cross country team totaled 197 points to finish in seventh place out of eight teams at the 2011 South Coast Conference Championships on Saturday at Cerritos Regional Park. The event close out the season for the LBCC women as the squad did not qualify for next week's Southern California Regional Championships.

Freshman Amalia Erazo (pictured) led the Vikings at the conference finals with a time of 22:35 on the flat 5K course to finish in 39th place. She was followed closely by sophomore Alondra Canchola in 41st place at 22:40.

Mt. San Antonio College scored 37 points to win the women's SCC team title while El Camino College Compton Center's Robinea McClinton was the individual champion with a time of 19:13.
