Women's Cross Country: Muldrow, Luckey wrap up season at State Championships

Long Beach City College freshman Asia Muldrow (Frederick K.C. Price III Christian HS) finished in 74th place while sophomore Sonnaca Luckey (Gahr HS) took 168th place to wrap up the 2015 season for the Vikings on Saturday at the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Cross Country State Championship in Fresno.

Muldrow continued to improve as the season progressed. She ran a personal-best time for the second week in row, clearing the 5,000-meter course at Woodward Park with a time of 20:13.8.

Luckey, the Vikings' second individual qualifier, ran 21:53.8 to close out her community college career at the State Championships.

Glendale Community College won the women's team championship with a score of 37 points. Southwestern College's Aminat Olowora won the women's individual title for the second straight year, clocking in at 17:02.0.
