Freshman softball pitcher Joette Vega earns the Student-Athlete of Spotlight of the Week honors for earning two wins on the mound in the Glendale Tournament. Vega totaled nine strikeouts, and had five hits on two earned runs in nine innings of work. At the plate, she had five runs on six hits, totaled five RBIs and had one home run in four games.
