Sophomore guard earns the Student-Athlete Spotlight of the Week for his ability to pull through the West LA Tournament. Heard was the backbone of the team especially during the Championship Game against West LA College.
Heard scored five out of seven three pointers in the Championship game. For the course of the weekend, he totaled 29 points with three steals and three rebounds. He was named to the All-Tournament team.
