Baseball’s sophomore third baseman Mark Stanford earns the Student-Athlete Spotlight of the Week honors for his recent selection to the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-America College Division Team. He is one of six student-athletes from two-year colleges from around th country to be on the First-Team selections, which is voted on by members of the College of Sports Information Directors of America. Stanford finished his sophomore year with a 4.00 GPA and finished the baseball season with 46 RBIs and while holding a .292 batting average. This fall, Stanford will be continuing his academic and athletic career at Biola University.
