Title: Volleyball/Beach Assistant Coach

Devon started his career at Warren High school where he gained the position of the Head Girls Volleyball Coach in 2012. He quickly was able to return to his alma mater where he was the Head Coach for the Lakewood boys volleyball team for 7 consecutive seasons. During his time at Lakewood High School he had earned three Moore League Championships, four Moore League runner-up finalist, two Coach of the year awards in 2015, and 2018 from both Lakewood High School, as well as the Moore League. During his time at Lakewood he was able to help graduate numerous athletes and help them continue playing at a higher level at various colleges such as: BYU, Hope University, Cal Baptist, and LBCC.

During his time as a student athlete he played at Lakewood High school, as well as Long Beach City College where he was able to earn a Moore League MVP award his Senior season at Lakewood, and two 2nd team all conference awards while playing at LBCC. He also became a state champion while playing at city as an Outside Hitter in 2009 and earned his AA in Social Science.

He has also competed for Highline Volleyball Club where he earned a silver medal in the 17's division.

Working for multiple club volleyball organizations (Highline, Roots vbc, OCVC, & The LBC) he has gained several years of experience in the club scene. Devon will enter his 11th club season overall, and Dream In Golds Head Administrator for the second season, as well as the Head coach for Dream In Gold 15s & the Assistant coach for the Dream In Gold 17s team.

He is currently the Women's Beach and Indoor Assistant Volleyball Coach at Long Beach City College alongside Head Coach Misty May-Treanor, and is happy to be right next to Tyler Jackson as she makes her way into the head coaching position this upcoming season.​"
