Freshman third baseman Ileana Rivera earns the Student-Athlete Spotlight of the Week honors for her offensive efforts in the Vikings’ second conference game against Pasadena City College last Friday afternoon. Rivera had two hits with three RBIs to seal the Vikings eighth-consecutive win. So far this season, Rivera has 13 hits, with three in conference action, 12 RBIs and a .500 batting average.
