Jessica Blakeman is recognized with the Student- Athlete Spotlight of the week achievement. This past indoor season, Blakeman was ranked fifth in conference action with 3.08 kills per set, having 197 overall kills and a .244 hitting percentage. Blakeman was an offensive asset this season for the Vikings and helped lead the team to the playoffs for the third-consecutive season.

Blakeman contributed to the successful beach season the Vikings had this year. With her help, the Vikings were crowned back-to-back conference champions and took runner-up in the California Community College Athletic Association State Championship. Blakeman was recognized this season with Second-Team honors by advancing to the Top 16 in the SCC Pairs tournament.  

Blakeman will be furthering her athletic and academic career at the University of California, Riverside this upcoming Fall.
