Sophomore Cross Country and Track & Field star, Moises Marquez, earns the Student-Athlete of the Week achievements this year in both sports. In the California Community College Athletic Association State Championship meet for cross country, he came in 25^th place out of 168 participants and qualified to the All-State team with a time of 21:00.4. He was only ten seconds shy from All-American status. 

For Track & Field, he qualified for the SoCal Finals in the 5k by taking third place with a time of 15:46.93.

Marquez will be furthering his athletic and academic career at California State University, LA this upcoming Fall where he will be running for both the Cross Country and Track and Field teams.
