Men’s volleyball’s freshman opposite Uriel Batista earns the Student-Athlete Spotlight of the Week honors for his tremendous efforts in the CCCAA Regional Playoff game against Santiago Canyon College last friday in the Building Q Gym. Batista was an offensive asset to the team with 13 kills and had two crucial blocks against Santiago Canyon's powerhouses. With the win, the Viking advance to the CCCAA State Championship Semifinals on Thursday, Apr. 25 against El Camino at Fullerton College.
