The Long Beach City College women's beach volleyball team secured one pair to advance to the 3C2A State Championships at West Valley College this coming Friday and Saturday. They clinched their spot after a competitive showdown at the SoCal Regionals held at El Camino last weekend.

Sophomores Tainea Allen and Mikayla Curry will take on Orange Coast's Packer/Utterback, Feather River's Faupula/Daughtery, and West Valley's Franklin/ Ehret in Pool 7 on Friday morning.
