Long Beach, Calif. - The Long Beach City College football program has released its 2021 slate, announced Tuesday.

The Vikings open the season at LA Harbor on Saturday, Sept. 4 for a 1 p.m. kickoff before hosting Riverside for the team's home opener on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m.

A road trip to Chaffey, followed by hosting San Diego Mesa, and a game on the road at Golden West wrap up non-league competition in the first half of the season.

Long Beach opens National Northern League at Ventura on Saturday, Oct. 16 before hosting East LA on Saturday, Oct. 23 and another road trip to Bakersfield on Saturday, Oct. 30. The Vikings wrap up the regular season and league play with back-to-back contests at home in November, hosting Allan Hancock on Saturday, Nov. 6 and Canyons on Saturday, Nov. 13. All league games are set to begin at 6 p.m.

Long Beach finished the 2019 season 7-3 overall, 4-1 in National Northern League play. The Vikings wrapped up the season by defeating Southwestern in the Southern California Bowl Game, 20-16.
