Vikings Take the Hit Against East Los Angeles College 88-74

The Long Beach City College men's basketball team fell to the East Los Angeles College Huskies 88-74 on Friday evening in the Hall of Champions. With the loss, the Vikings drop to 7-8 overall.

The Huskies immediately started the game with high energy to take to the scoreboard first and sealed halftime with the 36-29 lead.

Freshman guard Lorenzo Marsh led first half with seven points, and then hit back-to-back three's in the second half and extended himself to 16 total points for the Vikings. Freshman guard Jackson Wimberly was quick around the basket led the team with six rebounds and had 13 points. Rounding out the top for the Vikings was sophomore guard Khieem Williams with four steals, four rebounds and 10 points. 

The Long Beach City College Vikings ended the game with the 88-74 loss, but will be back in action on Friday Jan. 7 against Rio Hondo College at 5 p.m.
