The Long Beach City College men's basketball team fell to the Cerritos College Falcons 69-80 on Wednesday evening in the Hall of Champions. With the loss the Vikings drop to 8-10 overall and are 1-2 in the South Coast Conference.

The Vikings opened the game with the lead jumper from sophomore guard Khieem Williams, but then Williams found himself in foul trouble early on. The Vikings closed the half on trailing the Falcons by six points.

At the end of the game, freshman guard Tremond Johnson led the Vikings with 21 points, four rebounds and four assists, while freshman guard Lorenzo Marsh tallied 14 points and five rebounds.

 The Vikings will be back in conference action on Friday, Jan. 28 at Compton College at 5 p.m.
